Bulgari Double Signed JLC Serpenti
The Bulgari Ref. 175 103 in 18 k yellow gold is an early and exceptionally rare example of the maison’s Tubogas design language. Featuring a 16 × 14 mm champagne dial double-stamped “Jaeger-LeCoultre / Bulgari,” the watch unites Swiss horological craftsmanship with Roman jewelry artistry. Powered by a manual-wind movement and paired with its original flexible Tubogas bracelet, this 1968 piece captures the elegance and innovation that would come to define Bulgari’s watchmaking identity.
Excellent vintage condition with very minor wear
Emerging in the late 1960s, this reference belongs to Bulgari’s formative era of horology, when the house collaborated with Jaeger-LeCoultre to create jewelry watches that combined Italian design with Swiss precision. The Tubogas bracelet, crafted entirely from interlocking gold bands without solder, became one of Bulgari’s most enduring signatures, celebrated for its seamless elasticity and sculptural beauty.
The dual signature on the dial underscores the partnership between two storied maisons, a collaboration that predates Bulgari’s full establishment as a watchmaker in its own right. Preserved in excellent vintage condition with its original box, this Ref. 175 103 stands as an important piece of Bulgari’s early watchmaking history- a fusion of artistry, innovation, and rarity that remains as captivating today as when it first appeared.
